Originally, the owners requested a home that was more traditional, however, through the process of design we explored something more contemporary – taking them on a new direction. The layout of the house is based around family and entertainment – chefs kitchen and pantry, outdoor servery – with a separate guest wing for family and visitors.

Functionality is achieved with living spaces and outdoor areas that are both intimate and expansive, with the ease and simplicity of opening and closing sliding doors. Situated on a corner site, this home requires street appeal from all angles. Materials were kept simple and unassuming, as the form itself takes central position.
